The Royal Museum of Mariemont has a study and research library covering several fields:
- History, Art History & Archaeology
- Classical Philology, the Far East
- Decorative arts, mainly ceramics
- Bibliophilism and Museology
The spacious reading room, located in the museum, welcomes visitors, students and researchers, providing access to a vast collection of several thousand volumes.

CONSULTATION OF WORKS
Works can be consulted in the library itself.
It is not a lending library.
The valuable books and archives can be consulted by prior request to the library.
INTER-LIBRARY LOANS
The library is part of the inter-library loan scheme between scientific libraries both inside and outside Belgium.
REPRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS
The library’s books dating from after 1850 can be photocopied (unless otherwise advised by the head of the reading room). Cost: €0.07 for an A4 copy, €0.25 for an A3 copy.
