The Cercle royal des Amis de Mariemont (Royal Circle of Friends of Mariemont)
With over 1,250 active members, the Cercle royal des Amis de Mariemont is one of the largest museum and cultural membership associations in Belgium. Since it was founded in 1934, the Cercle has played an active role in growing and improving the Mariemont collections, keeping alive the spirit of our founder and patron Raoul Warocqué.
Join the Cercle des Amis
As a member of the Friends of Mariemont you have access to many benefits and a year-round programme of events (see the calendar for details):
Free, unlimited admission to the museum’s temporary exhibitions - Free guided tours and talks organised by the Cercle at the museum
- 20% discount on museum activities (tours & workshops)
- 10% discount on everything in the Mariemont shop
- Invitation to previews and other events organised by the museum
- The Bulletin des Amis newsletter
- The Mariemont calendar
- The Domain & Royal Museum of Mariemont’s annual business report
- Free admission for two to a show at the Le Sablon cultural centre in Carnières and buy one get one free on tickets to all events at the Manage Centre of Culture (on presentation of your membership card).
Annual membership: three options
Payment to account number BE45 800-224-730-789 quoting “Membership [year]”.
Individual membership for people under 31 years old: 10 €
Individual membership for people over 30 years old: 25 €
Family membership for two adults and up to two children under 18: 30€
Make a donation
The Cercle royal des Amis de Mariemont has tax deduction status. For donations of a minimum value of €40, this means a 45% tax saving on the value of the donation. You will receive a tax certificate in the first quarter of the year following the year of donation.
Donations can be made to account BE45 800-2247307-89 quoting “Donation [year]”.
Once you donate you become a donor. You can also become a member.
