The collections

Travel to the four corners of the world

The Domain & Royal Museum of Mariemont takes you on a multicultural journey from Ancient Greece and Rome to the East Asian civilisations, via Pharaonic Egypt and the Fertile Crescent.

But the collections also cover Belgium, more specifically the province of Hainault, with objects relating to regional history and archaeology, porcelain art and other decorative arts. The museum is also home to a significant rare books collection.

We have labels, virtual visits, audio guides and other tools to help you on your way. Enjoy your visit!

The Museum is divided into the following sections

Egyptian & Near-Eastern antiquities

Greek & roman antiquities
