Why would people decide to decorate the entire façade of their houses with Egyptian motifs or fill the interiors with objects referencing the land of the Pharaohs ? Why would you have an Egyptian motif tattooed indelibly on your skin ? This, sometimes all-consuming, passion is found in many shapes and forms.
Ancient Egypt has always fired our imagination ! It is present everywhere, from museum works to children's toys, public fountains to interior decor, collections of antiquities to comic strips, travel stories to keepsake photos, artistic creations to celebrity magazine, ...
