Diverse Lives: Narratives of Śākyamuni Buddha in Text and Image
From 17th October to 19th October, 2024 - 10am to 5pm
The Ghent Center for Buddhist Studies (Ghent University) and the Royal Museum of Mariemont are pleased to host an in-person conference in Mariemont.
This will be conducted in English. It will bring together international specialists, a global community of researchers on Buddhist texts and images, to explore uncommon variations of the life stories of the Buddha Śākyamuni, the founding figure of Buddhism.
